SO, A FEW YEARS AGO AFTER USING MY MOTORBIKE IN A WET FIELD OUT CAMPING WITH MY MATES, I HAD A BIT OF DIFFICULTY WITH PICKING MY SIDE-STAND PUCK UP OFF THE GROUND WITH MY FULLY LADEN BIKE, I DIDN’T DROP MY BIKE BUT IT VERY NEARLY ALL ENDED IN DISASTER.

I THOUGHT I COULD MAKE THESE PUCKS MUCH BETTER.

 I DECIDED THAT A REEL MECHANISM INSIDE WOULD MAKE IT EASIER TO RETRIEVE YET STILL SMALL ENOUGH TO CARRY IN YOUR POCKET. I FORGOT ABOUT THE IDEA FOR YEARS AND THEN MY INSPIRATION WAS REIGNITED WHEN MY FRIEND DEVELOPED EMPHYSEMA AND STRUGGLES WITH HIS BREATHING WHEN EXERTING TOO MUCH ENERGY. THE IDEA POPPED UP IN MY HEAD AGAIN THINKING IT COULD HELP PEOPLE LIKE HIM WHILST OUT RIDING.

I ALSO THOUGHT THAT THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE TAKING UP BIKING NOW AND SOME OF THE RANGE OF  BIKES ARE DIFFICULT FOR ME TO HOLD UPRIGHT  ONLY BEING 10 STONE WET THROUGH! SO ANYONE WITH THE SAME ISSUE I HOPED IT WOULD  HELP THEM TOO?. IN FACT, ANYONE WHO RIDES WOULD FIND THIS MORE USEFUL AND NEAT TO USE COMPARED TO THE SIMPLE PLASTIC DISCS WE ALL KNOW.

TO TOP IT OFF ITS 2 SIDED SO WHEN YOU DROP IT ON THE FLOOR AND IT BOUNCES ONTO THE OTHER SIDE… WHO CARES IT STILL WORKS!

The Thundefoot is a unique motorcycle support system. It solves an old problem that most motorcyclists will encounter at some time or other  -  HOW TO PICK YOUR PUCK OFF THE GROUND AFTER TAKING YOUR BIKE OFF ITS SIDE-STAND?

 It is a small, reusable and pocket-sized puck that prevents your motorcycle sinking into soft ground like grass, gravel and soft tarmac when parked on its side stand.

 It is a two-sided, Fully retractable puck.

After the cord has been deployed and fastened to the handlebar using the soft silicone loop it will automatically retract when you lift the bike's weight off the side stand, this saves you having to balance your heavy bike whilst trying to retrieve it and prevent the possibility of dropping your pride and joy.

 It also helps the campsite or other environment from being littered with old crushed pop cans and pieces of broken up fence panel when everyone has gone home. You will never forget to retrieve yours again!
